As for the other stuff. . . it's been an interesting few weeks. I went out to Illinois for a while, and had a grand time. Hung out with my cousin a lot, and helped out with this little kids' theater camp thing, which was actually sort of entertaining. I'm usually not one for little kids, but the camp was relatively fun, really. And I had ample opportunity to build stuff out of cardboard and play with paint. Always good.
When my mom and I got back home, however, we discovered that the basement had flooded. Well, not flooded, really, but that we had a seepage problem. So for the past couple of weeks the entire contents of the basement has been sitting in the living room and dining room while a bunch of fans work full-tilt to dry out the basement. A group of people came yesterday to rip the carpet up. So we'll be getting new carpet down there soonish, as well as some new paint on the walls. Hopefully it won't be too much trouble. Mom and I are pretty sick of the whole affair at the moment.
As for art stuff, I'm afraid I've been in something of a slump lately. I've got a few sort of partial ideas, but I just don't have the drive to get them down on paper. I've got a few sketches that I might upload into scraps at some point, but nothing major. Hopefully I'll be able to start drawing regularly again soon.
Anyway, that's all. Laters, folks. Hope everyone's having a good summer.

"Hello. I have recently noticed your artwork on squiby. You are a very talented artist. And if I may say so, your artwork is what I would call amazing.
I have an open position on my Revolution Team as an artist through Whimpsters. We are designing a massive style pet site/mmorpg with amazing features. Our team has a whole art department, a programming team, and a staff of game designers. We run off of Whimpsters.net and are looking to make great changes to the adoptable world with a site that does things outside the box with a little inside too.
If you are interested to learn more and possibly join our family. Send me an MSN message at hiei6762@hotmail.com
Thank you."
Please consider this offer.
I may very well be interested in joining the team on this site of yours, but I feel the need to ask first: Would this be an actual job position, or is it a voluntary post, more or less? I'm not saying yes or no either way just yet, but I'd like to know beforehand. If I should contact your friend about this, I'll do that, but I thought I'd ask here first.
Thanks again, though.

" This position is, as you said, "more or less" voluntary. However, it will be a fun and amazing experience to work with other artists and team members as the game develops. And to be able to stick around and say, Yeah I made that happen. I think you would be impressed to see just some of the alpha work already complete. The ideas are there. The game designers are there. The programmers are here. We need you to join with our other artists to tackle the large amount of artwork that needs to be done for the project. But being voluntary, means your own hours, own direction. I just simply give you a list of what needs to be done and what you could do if you wanted to. And you do whatever. Our game design department makes it work. Thank you for your interest. Contact me, the owner, for more information. msn: hiei6752@hotmail.com [link] - avikken "
